Part-time teaching assistant posts, Leicester
We are looking for teaching assistants to help with the running of after school maths clubs using the Japanese abacus in Leicester. Knowledge of how to use the abacus is not necessary as training will be provided.
Qualification requirement:
NVQ level 3 or above
Hours: After school hours from 3 to 6 pm depending on days of the week. Minimum 4 hours a week with possibility of extending this further to running your own sessions.
Criteria:
Experience in teaching children in a formal education setting
Must be proficient in English and primary maths
Energetic and good with young children
Be eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
Preferably, have a valid DBS.
