‘Active mind’ abacus sessions for the elderly have been running for 10 sessions now (5 weeks). We have around 21 participants who signed up for the event when we started. There are currently around 15 who still attend at different times depending on their other activities.It is really amazing to see their enthusiasm toward learning the abacus and how they put aside time everyday to do some tables.
