Tips for the week – Listening

Here are some tips on Listening tasks: Work through all the questions on the paper the first time using your abacus. Don’t write the answers down when you are doing this using your abacus. Next, go to Listening and try out the same questions through listening. No physical abacus involved, just imagine it. Type in the answers as you listen. Skip any questions you can’t catch up. To : All students Due to updates on the system, you will need to register before you can access the resources. The registration process is very quick. You will only need to fill in your chosen username, full name, and email address. Once you have registered you will receive a password. You can change the given password with your chosen password after registration.

Mental Abacus

I have now uploaded a new exercise for the mental abacus called ‘Listening’. Give it a try and good luck. Don’t get put off if it sounds too fast the first time you listen to this. Give it a try a few times and you will be fine. You might find that you were unable to access some files yesterday. There were some updates being done on the site. All exercises should be fully accessible now.
