Here is Isabelle again performing flash anzan.  There will be 4 double digits shown at the speed of 1 second for each number. She will be adding them up as they are flashed at her.

This is an example of what children can do when they have learned the Japanese abacus for some time.  Isabelle (9) is adding up 10 single digit numbers which are flashed at her at the speed of 0.5 second.  The app being used is called Mental Calc by Tetsu Soft.  Have a go at it!
