Your tasks this week are:
- Abacus practice at least 3 times a week. Add 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 up to 60 and 7 to 70, 8 to 80 and 9 to 90.
- Try out Flash Cards Toucan 3 if you can. If you can’t, Try out the Flash Cards Toucan 2.
- Listening – Continue practising Mental Abacus Toucan1.32, 1.34 and 1.35. Try aiming at getting scores of 15 out of 24 for the meantime.
- Complete Additional Abacus Exercises (page 1 of Extra Toucan Book 3 Exercises 28Sep12).
- Feedback from parents on tasks by Thursday (if possible).

Isobel did really well on Toucan 1.32. However, it would be helpful if you could make the recordings as loud as possible. We had the volume up to maximum and also maximum on our computer, but your voice was still very soft!
Isobel was pleased to get 20 out of 24 as the questions were quite fast

We found Mental abacus 1.32 to be very fast, so we did the questions on paper first, and then did them again online. Marianne put them in the wrong box for the last question! love Isobel xx

Good. You can try out 1.34 and 1.35 next. Once you get the idea, they should all be easier now.
